A Super Truck ride on top of mount Eyjafjallajökull
We will start by driving to a viewpoint on the edge of Mt. Hellisheiði east of Reykjavík before we take a look at Urriðafoss, the most voluminous waterfall in Iceland, which is located in a glacier river called Þjórsá. Þjórsá also happens to be the longest river in Iceland, 230 kilometers.
Further east we will stop to explore the area where Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Gljúfrabúi waterfall are located. Seljalandsfoss waterfall is the one you can walk behind, while Gljúfrabúi is hidden inside a little canyon.
Gígjökull glacier is one of the outlet glacier of Eyjafjallajökull glacier. This is where part of the meltwater from Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010 came down to the lowlands.
Then it is time to board the Super-Truck and head up to Eyjafjallajökull glacier, the most notorious volcano in Iceland. The Super-Truck and Eyjafjallajökull glacier have one thing in common, both are one of a kind.
